I did this family session at the end of June and forgot to post it on the blog! This summer was so crazy with my internship, assistantship, and photography! But, I can’t deny that it was incredibly fun! I’m actually glad my last semester of taking classes is starting up.

Anyway, I had so much fun with this family session. At first, Leo was a little bit shy, but then we became good friends. haha. He was so cute! I can’t get over his baby blue eyes either.

Brother Sister Love

Tripti is a friend of mine at Purdue. We worked together in the residence halls one summer and have continued getting lunch every so often since then. Her brother is moving out of state for medical school this fall, so she decided to have some photos of them taken for her parents before they split! We roamed around Purdue’s campus for a little while…Here are some of my favorites:

Friday Fun

We photographed this beautiful family a couple of weeks ago. We started at their beautiful home and then strolled through Purdue’s campus. It was so fun! Their kids were running around and enjoying the weather, so we paused them every now and then to get some photos. I hope you enjoy! I have so many blog posts coming…

Kids Are Cute.

Do other photographers ever experience this when they photograph kids? Anytime we angle our heads or sit differently, kids always copy! I think I have a quite a few photos of kids doing this exact same thing! I love kids. haha.

A Cute Little Lady!

I can’t get over how cute this little lady is!! She’s so precious (and was VERY cooperative for our picture fun). I couldn’t stop editing, so I’ll just get to the pictures.

David, Janae, and Tyler – Family Session

We had a fun winter shoot with some friends of ours. It was a cold, cold day, so we took some inside before we braced the cold.

They have this really pretty wall outside!

Tyler kept looking at Brandon because his camera was making a lot “cool” noises. (He had his camera on High Speed Continuous.)

Tyler was such a good sport too! He wasn’t feeling the best and didn’t sleep well the night before, but he still had lots of great smiles for us. Oh how I love taking pictures!! I’m hoping we get more snow and I can go out and take some more!!

Photo Christmas Cards

I am planning on adding these (among many others I will design between now and then) as a package option for family photos next season! And, possibly even custom designs…

We’ll see! In the mean time, enjoy a preview this holiday season. I need to start working on OUR Christmas card…

Joshua, Susan, Samuel, Zachary, and Lillian – Family Session

This session was SO MUCH fun!! I have so many favorites, it’s ridiculous. These kids are so cute and had so much fun getting their pictures taken. It was a blast. I love love love my side job.

I love this picture with his cat. This might be his only non-silly face for the day! :)

This kid is a piano rock star! He played a song while we took his picture.

They ran in a big circle….and then

Zachary flew off…but I’m pretty sure he enjoyed it!

They took a break and played a family friendly game of soccer to let the kids warm up.

Pete, Becky and Jack

This family made me wish we took videos when we photograph people. Jack has the cutest and sweetest little voice. He was so fun. After he warmed up to us, we had a great time. We bought some new camera equipment recently, and this was one of our first shoots with the new lens. I’m seriously in love! So glad we purchased that lens, and it was the least expensive of all our lenses.

I really couldn’t stop editing my favorites of this family!! It was such a beautiful day despite all our cold October weather. November has been nice and snuggley. The park was packed full of people out enjoying the weather, but we still managed to find some cozy spots. I hope you enjoy your photos! We had such a blast taking them.

Jaden & Beth

These are from awhile ago, but I finally got around to editing them. This is Jaden and my Sister-In-Law Beth. She was chasing him back and forth on a Sunday afternoon and tickling him. He kept telling her to stop, but then wouldn’t let her stop chasing him either. Pretty cute! I love this kid.
